Millennials everywhere, prepared to feel old: Suri Cruise, the daughter of actors Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, just graduated from high school on Friday. Yep, that’s right—the once super-cute toddler teetering around in high heels on the streets of Manhattan is officially a high school grad.
Over the weekend, Suri received her diploma from LaGuardia High School at United Palace Theatre in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood with her famous mom by her side. In photos obtained by Page Six, the 18-year-old wore a red gown over a summery white midi dress and accessorized with strappy metallic heels with floral detailing and her cap in hand.
Holmes, for her part, wore a butter-yellow matching set that included a pair of pleated pants and a long-sleeved polo sweater. A pair of silky gray kitten heels, a beige Celine handbag, and tortoiseshell sunglasses rounded out her mother-of-the-grad look.
Suri’s estranged father, Tom, wasn’t present at the event. He instead was spotted at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop in London. And according to Page Six, Suri has seemingly dropped her dad’s last name completely, going by “Suri Noelle” in the graduation ceremony’s pamphlet.
Last month, Suri hinted at her plans to go to college in a classmate’s TikTok, seemingly revealing that she would be attending Carnegie Mellon University come fall. In the video, captioned “LaG commitment day,” Suri made a silly face and pointed to her bright red sweatshirt that had “Carnegie Mellon” printed in white lettering across the front, as Miley Cryus’s “I’ll Always Remember You” played in the background.
